This Privacy Policy explains how Gürkan Gül ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Sudoku Arena mobile application and the legal pages hosted for the app (together, the "Services").

Short version: Sudoku Arena does not require an account, does not include a paid premium version, and does not operate a backend API for user profiles or gameplay. Game progress, rank, language settings, and similar app preferences are stored locally on your device. The app is ad-supported and uses Google AdMob to show ads.

1. Information We Handle

1.1 Information you provide directly to us

Sudoku Arena does not ask you to create an account, sign in, provide an email address, or submit profile information in the app.

If you contact us for support by email, we will receive the information you choose to include in that message, such as your email address, device details, and the description of your issue. We use that information only to respond to your request.

1.2 Information stored locally on your device

The app stores gameplay and preference information locally on your device using device storage. This may include:

game progress and recent results;
rank, XP, streaks, scores, and mode statistics;
language preference and app settings;
local counters used to decide when to request an ad.

We do not operate a server that receives or stores this local gameplay or settings data. Deleting the app may delete this locally stored data, depending on your device and operating system behavior.

1.3 Advertising information

Sudoku Arena uses Google AdMob to display ads. We configure Google AdMob ad requests for non-personalized ads where supported. Even when non-personalized ads are requested, Google and its partners may process information needed to deliver, limit, secure, and measure ads.

Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google policies, advertising information may include:

device type, operating system, app version, and language;
IP address and approximate location derived from IP address;
advertising identifiers, if available and permitted by your device settings and consent choices;
ad impressions, clicks, and other ad interaction data;
diagnostic information needed to prevent fraud, abuse, and technical errors.

1.4 Static legal pages

These Privacy Policy and Terms pages are hosted on Firebase Hosting. When you visit these web pages, Firebase/Google may process standard hosting logs such as IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, and timestamp for security, reliability, and delivery of the pages. We do not use these pages to create user accounts or track gameplay.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share local gameplay data with our own backend because the app does not operate one.

Email provider: if you contact us for support.
Legal requirements: if disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

4. Your Choices

You can reset or limit your device advertising identifier through your iOS or Android privacy settings.
You can manage app tracking permission through iOS settings where applicable.
You can delete locally stored app data by deleting the app or using operating system storage controls where available.
You can contact us to request deletion of support emails you previously sent, subject to legal or security retention needs.

5. Children's Privacy

Sudoku Arena is a general audience puzzle game. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through accounts or forms in the app. If you believe a child has contacted us and provided personal information, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to keep the Services secure. However, no app, device storage, email system, ad network, or hosting provider can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. International Processing

Google AdMob, Firebase Hosting, and email services may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing is governed by their own privacy and security practices and applicable law.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, advertising setup, hosting setup, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
